Sara Minelli was born in Rome in 1974. After the studies in Anthropology and a Masters degree in International Cooperation and Human Rights, began her activity as a photographer, documentarist and videomaker. Using the camera as a record of poverty and violation of human rights in marginal and minority groups, she keep on reporting focusing on contemporary social and political issues of our times joining the cooperation with various periodicals and newspaper following news of national and international concern as well as medium-long term projects linked to conflicts and post war situations, with a special emphasis investigating the Middle East circumstances.
